Social mixers allow participants to get to know each other. The Wednesday night mixer will include
ice-breaking or team-building activity.
Speakers and sponsors/visitors approved for participation will be
encouraged to attend the Thursday night mixer and will be available to students
for talking about leadership and careers.
YLC and Division Activity
The YLC Schedule contains YLC en masse activities, Division activities and Team activities. YLC en masse activities are held in the auditorium, beneath the Shuttle or in the cafeteria. Each team will sit together as a group and near other assets within the division.
Feedback and Evaluation is division-led YLC en masse activity
Division activities, if in the NASA Educational Test Facility, are held in one of 3 separate rooms. Activities conducted at the division level include the daily light fitness activity in the morning, Aviation Challenge, team project times and Break-away activities. Break-away activities include a Question and Answer panel session focused on leadership, a division level workshop on legislation, “The Declaration of Independence” and “The Bill of Rights.”
